Good Morning Sunshine...

I have been trying to use my camera every day (okay, every weekday). Capturing those everyday things that for so long I never stopped to shoot. I have always loved still shots...life's scenery at its best...but with my endless to do lists and limited time, I usually didn't pause long enough to take the shot. But life is too short and one of my resolutions is to take more photos.

Today's pictures are inspired by my love of sunshine. I have a large eastern-facing window in my studio, and each morning as I type I get to see the sun rise above the mountains and bounce off the neighboring trees. It is a beautiful sight. I love what that sunrise represents; a reminder that each day is a fresh new start. I love the bright and cheery way I feel when the sunshine fills the room. I love that it is a sign of brighter, longer days ahead. My favorite part of summer is the length of its days. The sun energizes me and I just feel more productive and motivated. So today I celebrate the return of early mornings and the joy I feel as the sun is filling my world.

enjoy the view...
