What's for dinner?

I failed to mention one other item we picked up at IKEA... Meatballs!

My family goes crazy for IKEA meatballs! I like to think it's my special cream sauce that they're smothered in that does it, but who knows!?

Some time ago, I decided I wanted to put together a collection of family recipes for my kids, but I have yet to begin the project. There are so many ways to go that I hadn't decided on the perfect design strategy. Until now. As I found myself taking pictures of rice krispy treats last week, it dawned on me. Why not use my own photos of ingredients, in-process cooking and and completed specialties?!

Now all I have to do is keep my camera in the kitchen on cooking nights (I'm lucky enough not to have to do it every night anymore!) and build a great collection of family favorites as I create them. It might even make the task of cooking a little more fun!
Swedish Meatballs....it's what's for dinner!
enjoy the fun you can create out of everyday tasks!

I had no idea you could buy meatballs there. Going to have to pick some up. I'd also like to try your cream sauce recipe on them. Sounds yummy!

P.S. Ya know what....I think your idea is great. I have a bunch of my recipes in a church cookbook, but I would love to make cookbooks for each of my boys with pictures and everything of all of their favorite meals. I think it would be a huge blessing to their future wives if they could do some of the cooking. I'm so going to do this. Thanks for the inspiration. :o)
