As CHA (the Craft and Hobby Association trade show) is winding down...my feet continue to swell up! This show is so huge; we must walk about 10 miles a day!
The upside, however, is my brain is swirling with creative ideas and fresh inspiration! This show is an incredible kick start every year for me; always sure to rejuvenate my creative spirit. I am always humbled by the amount of talent we have in this industry. Fresh new ideas and fabulous new products abound! What products did I drool the most over? Well so far, my favorites are: an incredible line of home decor products (craft room or living room quality) designed by Lisa Bearnson and Becky Higgins. They are bare...ready to be altered, decorated and personalized. The samples they have made up are exquisite! I can hardly wait to get my hands on them! As most of you know, I am a quote freak!!! I had quotes throughout my scrapbook store and will have eventually all over my home studio walls as well. That leads me to favorite product number two...everyone is designing rub-on, press-on, stick-on wall words!!!! They are amazing! Expect to find my studio walls covered sooner than later!
There are simply too many beautiful papers to list, but suffice to say, my pile of paper is sure to get larger! The market is also flooding with adorable clear stamps and wonderful rub-ons as well. And lastly...something for the stampers out there...(Hey Mom, this ones for you!) My favorite artist (points if you know who it is!) has designed metal storage totes for ink pads! They ROCK! One even fits the smaller Distress Ink pads!!!! Guess that gives away the artist, doesn't it?! ;)
So that's a tiny, tiny sneak peak at what CHA is showcasing! I'll try and get some pics posted after I get home. One more night...
