When one door closes...

...another always opens!
I love that. And I firmly believe that. For every disappointment there is a happy success waiting to fill the void. It may not always happen right away, but it does happen.

Today's was a minor disappointment, but a sad moment for me none the less. One of my all time greatest inspirations, a hugely popular stamp artist, was unable to join in the book project due to a project already underway. At least the project was *his* own; I wasn't scooped by a competitor. See, always goodness in there somewhere if you look for it! Still...I admit...I turned to the comfort of the Tootsie Roll jar sitting on my desk. Hey, I may be an optimist, but I'm not perfect!

Lucky for me, my turn-around moment came quickly today! I received confirmation that another of my inspirations would be able to be involved in the book!!! Yippee! Watch for some insights from Rebecca Sower in Creative Spaces for Papercrafters!

enjoy the ride life's roller coaster offers!

Looking at the bright side of dissapointment is so important and always brings you blessings. Another thing we have in common. :o)
I have my big jar of candy cane kisses for my feel better stash.
