Let's Hear It...

What digital camera do YOU currently use? Do you love it? Wish you could trade it in on another model?
Rog and I have begun camera shopping as our Kodak is not serving my needs as well anymore. It is a great camera for some things...and I love it a lot more now that I use it to its true potential...but the trouble with using something up to its potential? It soon has you wanting to advance past its potential!

Canon? Nikon? Olympus? Where to go from here? We are both leaning toward the Canon, but want to hear from YOU on what your camera experiences have been...good and bad!

enjoy the start of a fresh week!

Hi! I recently purchased a Nikon D40, which has gotten great reviews. It is a digital SLR camera built with the beginner in mind. By that I mean, it's priced to appeal to those people who currently own a point and shoot digital and are ready to make the foray into the SLR but don't want to pay a fortune for a digital camera. I would definitely suggest you read the review on it. I LOVE mine, you can check out my blog and see some of the pics I've taken with it over the past month or so.....good luck!

Hi Deanna,
I got a Nikon D80 for Christmas this past year and I LOVE it...

I am not using it to its fullest potential AT ALL because I am a slow learner for technology and the manual is in GREEK...seriously! The camera can do almost anything...it can probably even cook me dinner if I knew what buttons to push!

I do use it for pics of the pets, my crafting projects, and now that I got a new micro lens, I am taking some AWESOME pics of the flowers and stuff in the yard.

I LOVE my new camera...now I just have to learn more about it.
